Summer lawn


A lawn full of "weeds" but I like seeing wild flowers amongst the grass and watching the bees in the garden.





I cut the lawn this afternoon so now it looks neat and tidy but in a couple of days the flowers will be back.

I totally agree. One of my great pleasures this summer is contemplating the bumble bees fumbling about our overgrown lavender bush. Every spring I gently force my husband NOT to cut the grass as I adore watching the multitudes of daisies and buttercups springing up. It reminds me of Medieval gardens.

I actually love mowing the lawn, but I too have been letting the little flowers grow, creating a white sea across the grass ;) Makes it look completely different once it's cut!
