It was very quiet and still. The was no movement in the water of the fishing lakes (old flooded gravel pits) except when birds moved leaving ripples travelling across the surface.
The mist had settled everywhere, little droplets of water on the grass, falling from the trees and picking out the outlines of hundreds of cobwebs.

Thank you for the comments. I've not used the computer for a couple of days (busy end of holiday/start of term things to do) so it was nice read these this morning.
I was pleased with the pictures from my little camera, they did seem to capture the peaceful atmosphere.

The mist pictures are just so beautiful! and I love that spider's web. I've been noticing them a lot lately -- I wonder if they are more noticeable at this time of year?
